The Santa Monica Pickleball Center has become the premiere location for the sport in Los Angeles. Not only are we a retail store with hundreds of paddles, but we also have four permanent outdoor pickleball courts right behind the store.
SMPB is open daily—store hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and courts are available for booking daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Equipment is not included, but rentals are available onsite. If you need equipment, we have over 100+ demo paddles available for rent for $5 per paddle and balls available for purchase. Staff can help you choose a paddle that's right for your game.
Reservation cancellations must be made 48 hours before the reservation. Cancellations made within 48 hours of reservation will not be refunded.
Based on weather forecasts and our court drying machine, the Santa Monica Pickleball Center will determine rainouts 1-2 hours before the reservation start time. Rainouts will receive club credits only. All event cancellations require a 7-day written notice for a 50% refund.
Player Check-in
The entrance to the courts is through the store entrance on Wilshire - just check in at the front desk and they'll let you know what court you're on. We have a restroom on-site located to the right of the fridge.
Everyone who is there for the first time who didn't make the reservation will be asked to sign a quick waiver on-site.
PARKING
We have parking behind the building on 25th Street - please feel free to park in any spot marked for the Santa Monica Tennis Center. If those spots are taken, there are additional spots one row behind, feel free to park in any spaces that are unmarked or read 'Infuse Creative' or 'Active Barbershop' -- no longer in business.
WHAT TO BRING
Please make sure to arrive with court shoes and water; otherwise, we have water, Gatorade, and protein bars available for purchase.
